I'm Helen le Roux

Helen was a dream to work with! I wrote a short story and her developmental edits and final proofreading notes were instrumental to the story finding its final shape. Her creative thinking helped me fine tune the themes of the story, and her criticism was always friendly and encouraging. I look forward to working with her on creative projects in future.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Helen at Electric Book Works. She's thoughtful and meticulous, and her endless curiosity is invaluable, especially in publishing where we work on such a wide range of topics. She's also the editor of my podcast, How Books Are Made, where she has a gift for knitting a flowing, natural-sounding story from very raw material. I can highly recommend bringing her in on your publishing projects.
